Different Types of Bags

 

1. Baguette

A purse that is relatively long from side to side and small from top to bottom.

 

 

2. Clutch

A slim, flat handbag without handles or a strap.

 

3. Drawstrings bag

A bag that is closed at the top with a drawstring.

4. Fanny Pack

A small pouch on a belt, for money and small articles, worn round the waist or hips.

 

5. Half moon Bag

Shaped as a half-moon

 

6. Hobo Bag

A handbag or purse characterized by a crescent shape, a slouchy posture, and a long shoulder strap.

 

7. Back Pack

A bag carried on the back, usually of cloth with many pockets and straps that go over your shoulders, used to carry things.

 

8. Messenger Bag

A large bag with a long strap, worn across the body.

 

9. Minaudiere

The Minaudière is a small hard-cased clutch or handbag that typically features decorative and embellished beads or crystals.The biggest difference between a clutch and a minaudiere is that a clutch is typically less structured and more of an envelope shape, while a minaudiere has more of a box shape.

 

10. Muff Bag

A fashion accessory combining a handbag and a fur muff.

A handbag with a flat top and a rounded bottom, with a front flap in the shape of a horse saddle is called a saddle bag.

 

12. Satchel Bag

This is a rectangular bag with a flap that fastens in the front with a single or double buckle. Usually, they have a long strap and are hung low on the body.

 

 

13. Duffel Bag

A cylindrical canvas bag closed by a drawstring and carried over the shoulder.

A small and thin rectangular handheld bag, or clutch, with a triangular flap, resembling an envelope, is called an envelope bag.

A tall bag with a roughly circular cross section, closed by means of a drawstring.

This large bag was originally used by doctors to carry their supplies when they made house calls. They have a frame at the top and a flat bottom and are really roomy.

A tote bag is a large and often unfastened bag with parallel handles that emerge from the sides of its pouch.

 

 

18. Vanity Case

A small rectangular handheld bag, usually with a top handle, used to store women’s beauty items like makeup.

 

 

19. Wallet

A tiny fold-able bag used to carry money and cards is known as a wallet.

 

 

20. Wristlet

Wristlet is a small handbag with a short carrying strap resembling a bracelet.

 

 

21. Weekender

A large handbag with top handles and a thick strap, often made of durable material like leather or canvas, used for storing overnight clothing and toiletries for a weekend getaway is called a weekend bag.

 

 

22. Kiondo

A bag with one or two long handles and made from sisal (= dried grass twisted together) or other materials.
